Sailing Turbulent Seas

Sailing Turbulent Seas is a 24 x 24 x 1.5″ acrylic on stretched gallery wrap canvas.  Created using palette knife. The purple gray background creating the stormy sky was created using a brush but the wispy movement of clouds was placed using a palette knife.  Other than the impression of ropes and lines the rest of the artwork completely done with a palette knife, creating texture in the old rustic looking sails.  This piece would look great in a beach house or even a lake house or for someone who really likes sailing.
